A 20-year-old man is charged in the deadly shooting in Richland County.
Sheriff's deputies believe the shooting was an accident and have charged Nicholas Butler with involuntary manslaughter.
Deputies found 17-year-old Jalin Palmer with a deadly gunshot wound just after midnight Sunday at a home on Cherrywood Drive.
Palmer was a student at Ridge View High School.
