Officials with the Berkeley County Sheriff's Office say a sweep resulted in several arrests and the confiscation of drugs.
Investigators announced yesterday that they seized more than 40 pounds of marijuana and arrested nearly 40 people during the two-day operation.
The arrests stemmed from outstanding warrants, drug activity, and traffic violations.
