Senate Considers Closing Gun Loophole

The state Senate is considering a bill to close what observers call, the "Dylan Roof loophole," allowing him to buy the weapon he used to kill 9, at the Mother Emanuel AME church.

At that time, Roof was allowed to purchase the gun after 3 days, even though his background check had not been completed. This measure would extend the background check waiting period, to five days.
