Lawsuit Alleges Seven Columbia Stores Of Discrimination

Two more convenience stores have been added to the list of defendants in a discrimination lawsuit.

A Richland County man filed a lawsuit in June that alleged five stores along North Main Street denied African-Americans access to bathrooms, while allowing white people to use them.

"The State" said yesterday that the two new convenience stores added to the list claim they don't have public restrooms at all.
