Henry McMaster will announce later today on whether or not he will be issuing a mandatory evacuation of coastal areas beginning tomorrow.
If he issues the order it will reverse all eastbound lanes of I-26 between Charleston and Columbia westbound and inland.
Lane reversals inland and away from the east coast are also planned for U.S. Highways 21, 278 and 501 heading away from Beaufort, Hilton Head Island and Myrtle Beach.
