Georgia Man Charged With Calling DC Office To Threaten Senator

(Undated)  --  An alleged neo-Nazi sympathizer is facing federal charges for allegedly threatening to kill South Carolina Senator Tim Scott.

A criminal complaint filed in a U.S. district court in Georgia says Jason Kenneth Bell made threats against the Republican senator when he called his DC office earlier this month.

The documents indicate Bell told a staffer he was upset about Scott's position on neo-Nazis and Scott's meeting with President Trump to talk about his comments on the Charlottesville rally.

Bell allegedly called back and left ten messages following the death threat.
