(Columbia, SC) -- The Gamecocks will say goodbye to Columbia today with the hope of returning in the new year with a new trophy.
The football team will travel today to Tampa where it will play in the Outback Bowl on New Year's Day. It won't be all business, though, as USC and the Michigan players will have a bowling competition Wednesday night.
The week's visit also includes visits to Busch Gardens, children in the hospital, a hockey game, the beach, and a pep rally the night before the game.
