Lowcountry Gets Up To Six Inches Of Snow

(Charleston, SC)  --  The Lowcountry has some high snow totals, especially in Charleston.

Between three and six inches fell in the region yesterday, and Charleston got its third-highest single-day snowfall amount ever.

You have to go back to 1989 to find the most recent higher snowfall total in the city.  All that snow plus low temperatures overnight mean lots of ice on the roads this morning, so driving could be dangerous.
