(Washington, DC) -- Some South Carolina congressmen are trying to make sure they feel the same pain some constituents are feeling.
Joe Wilson, Mark Sanford and Ralph Norman announced this weekend they will forgo their pay during the government shutdown.
Thousands of federal workers, including some in Columbia, are being told to stay home today.
Wilson blamed the Democrats and especially Senator Chuck Schumer for the shutdown, and he even re-Tweeted the hashtag SchumerShutdown.
