Work Begins To Restore Farrow Road To Four Lanes

(Columbia, SC)  --  Columbia's attempts to correct what one commuter calls a big mistake is going to be costly.

The city yesterday started removing two bike lanes to restore Farrow Road to four travel lanes after drivers complained.

Adding the bike lanes cost about 140-thousand dollars, and removing them is expected to cost more than 250-thousand.

Commuters tell ABC Columbia the whole thing was stupid, and the city shouldn't have tried to fix something that wasn't broken.
