(Washington, DC) -- Lindsey Graham is part of a bipartisan effort to impose what he calls crushing sanctions against Russia.
The Republican senator and five colleagues from both sides of the aisle introduced a bill yesterday in response to Russia's election interference.
The sanctions target Russian political figures and anyone involved in illicit or corrupt activities on behalf of Vladimir Putin.
The bill was introduced on the same day the director of national intelligence said that Russia has not slowed its influence campaign ahead of the midterms.
