(Charleston, SC) -- The effects from Hurricane Florence could start to be felt tonight along the coast.
The National Weather Service has a Hurricane Watch in effect for Charleston, McClellanville, Edisto Island and Berkeley County.
Winds tonight could reach up to 55 miles an hour with gusts up to 70 miles an hour.
Up to eight inches of rain are possible, and the NWS warns the impact could be catastrophic.
