Local Runners Call For Change After Death

(Lexington,  SC)  -- Local runners are calling for change after the recent death of a member of their community.

Lexington 36-year-old Dianne Wells died after getting hit by a car last month on Augusta Highway. The SCHP said last week she was in a crosswalk illegally.

Since then, two local running groups told WACH Fox her death reaffirms the need for greater pedestrian safety, and they're forming a committee to come up with suggestions.
