(Columbia, SC) -- A former USC student has what she calls an easy solution to prevent a repeat of what happened to Samantha Josephson.
Sydney Ford recently started a Change.org petition to get Uber and Lyft cars to have a QR sticker, or barcode, on them. More than 47-thousand people have signed the petition, and Ford is hoping for 50-thousand.
Josephson was killed, last week, after getting into a car she mistakenly thought was her Uber ride, and Ford says what happened to Josephson could have happened to her, too.
