(Columbia, SC) -- The Gamecocks are celebrating a National Signing Day victory after securing an in-state, five-star defensive lineman.
Jordan Burch is a six-foot-five, 265-pound defensive end from Hammond School in South Carolina.
South Carolina had expected Burch to commit during the early signing period, but instead waited to make it official this week.
He is the number two-ranked defensive tackle in the class of 2020, but is expected to play end for the Gamecocks.
