Coronavirus: SC Legislature Passes Resolution To Keep Government Running

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina lawmakers have submitted legislation to the governor that would keep the state government running.

The resolution hit Governor Henry McMaster's desk yesterday which would help keep the government funded until a state budget is passed in the fall.

The resolution also sets aside nearly 200-million dollars in surplus money to benefit the state's COVID-19 response account, protecting poll workers, and helping the Medical University of South Carolina with statewide testing.
