Drive-In Movies Coming to the Palmetto State

Walmart will host several drive-in movie pop-up events in store parking lots across South Carolina. Events kick-off nationwide in August, but the first in the state is in North Charleston on September 29th and 30th. There will be October dates in Goose Creek, Sumter, North Augusta and Spartanburg. Tickets are free, but they need to be requested in advance.

And the Town of Lexington is hosting an 80s themed drive-up movie series. They're screening "Hoosiers" at River Bluff High School on August 29th. Cars can arrive at 8 p.m. before the movie starts at 9. The series will continue in Lexington in September and October.
