Nineteen New COVID-19 Deaths In South Carolina

(Columbia, SC) -- The coronavirus is responsible for 19 more deaths in South Carolina. 

The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced yesterday one of those deaths was of a child in Sumter County, but the child's age was not released. 

Anderson County reported the most deaths with three. 

DHEC also announced almost 600 more cases of COVID-19, led by Greenville County with 62, and the positivity rate was just over 11-percent.
