South Carolina Expanding COVID-19 Vaccine Eligibility, Receiving More Doses

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina will expand COVID-19 vaccine eligibility this week.

Governor McMaster says residents 16 and older can register for the vaccine beginning Wednesday.

This comes as the state prepares to receive over 160-thousand doses this week.

Public health officials say they could also expand eligibility because there was not enough demand to fill vaccine appointments.
