50% Of Eligible South Carolina Residents Now Vaccinated Against COVID-19

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina is hitting a COVID-19 vaccination milestone. 

DHEC now reports that 50-percent of Palmetto state residents eligible for the vaccine have at least one dose. 

Forty-four-percent of South Carolina residents are fully vaccinated. 

The group least vaccinated against the virus are those ages 12 to 24.
