(Columbia,SC) -- Governor McMaster is keeping his eyes on the latest COVID-19 surge.
At a news conference today, the governor talked about the importance of vaccinations, and insisted schools should not require masks in the classroom.
The Governor reaffirmed his position that mandates such as that imposed on schools by the city of Columbia are unlawful.
He also blamed the Delta variant on the increase of coronavirus cases.
