(Greenville County, SC) -- Greenville County Schools is experiencing a teacher shortage.
The district has 28 teacher vacancies in total. School officials say the job openings come for several reasons, including resignations and early retirements.
Since September 1st, the district saw 21 teachers hired and 33 resignations.
Greenville County Schools is also looking for substitute teachers.
