South Carolina AG Reports Increase In Human Trafficking

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina is seeing an increase in human trafficking. 

Attorney General Alan Wilson released the state's annual report on trafficking Monday. 

It showed a nearly 15-percent increase in the number of victims reported to the National Human Trafficking Hotline, as well as an increase in the number of children identified as victims by social services. 

Horry County saw the most trafficking, followed by Richland, Greenville, and Charleston Counties.
