(Lexington, SC) - A baby is safe after being surrendered to Lexington Medical Center under the Safe Haven for Babies Act known as Daniel's Law.
It lets parents surrender their newborn to a designated location without consequence.
The baby girl was surrendered on January 21st and is now being cared for at a licensed foster home.
A plan for her permanent living situation will be determined at a hearing in March.
