(Greenville, SC)- South Carolina is seeing its first unionized Starbucks location.
Employees at the Starbucks on Pelham Road in Greenville voted eight to one to unionize with Starbucks Workers United.
Starbucks issued a statement saying they believe they are better together as partners without a union.
The Millwood Store location in Columbia is set to vote on unionization on May 26th, followed by a Starbucks in Anderson County on May 31st.
