Murdaugh's Attorney Claims Prosecutors Not Giving Him Evidence In The Case

(Columbia, SC)-- Alex Murdaugh's attorney is speaking out on claims that he is not getting the information he needs from prosecutors.

Murdaugh is accused of killing his wife and son in June of 2021. His attorney Dick Harpootlian held a press conference Wednesday, claiming the State Attorney General's Office has not given evidence to the defense within the allotted time frame.

He also alleges that prosecutors leaked information about Murdaugh's murder indictment to the press before it happened.

Alex Murdaugh is currently expected to stand trial in January.
