(Homeland Park, SC)-- The U.S. Geological Survey is confirming a 2.1 magnitude earthquake in the Upstate.

It happened four miles southeast of Homeland Park in Anderson County around 2 a.m. Thursday.

This is nowhere near the swarm of earthquakes near Elgin.

In that area, dozens of quakes have been reported since December.
