Sen. Lindsey Graham Introduces Federal 15-Week Abortion Ban

(Washington, DC)-- A Republican U.S. Senator from South Carolina is proposing federal abortion restrictions.

Senator Lindsey Graham introduced the "Protecting Pain-Capable Unborn Children from Late-Term Abortions Act" on Tuesday.

It would ban abortions after 15 weeks across the nation, while leaving in place any state laws that are more restrictive than that.

The measure does include exceptions for rape, incest, and risk to the mother's health.
