(Columbia, SC) - The 154th South Carolina State Fair starts today.
The theme this year is "Meet Me at the Rocket" because of the retired ballistic missile that's been located at the fairgrounds' front gate since 1969.
The fair will include music, entertainment, arts and crafts, and nearly 70 rides over the next 12 days.
There will be classic fair food as well as over a dozen new foods and drinks to try.
