Partial Solar Eclipse May Be Visible In South Carolina On Saturday

(Columbia, SC)-- South Carolinians may be able to see an astronomical event this weekend.

A partial solar eclipse may be visible midday Saturday. The event starts around 11:50 a.m. and ends around 2:48 p.m.

The partial eclipse could be blocked from being viewed in South Carolina if cloud cover increases.
