(Fort Jackson, SC) -- The U.S. Army is investigating the death of a soldier at Fort Jackson.
Unit members found Drill Sergeant Allen Burtram dead after he failed to report for work on Friday.
A Fort Jackson spokesperson could not comment on the details behind the death and whether or not it was suspicious.
