Severe Weather Could Impact South Carolina Again This Week

(Columbia, SC) - The chance for severe weather in South Carolina this week is not over yet.

It is possible that the state will see more severe weather on Friday.

A system could bring up storms with up to two inches of rain.

This comes after heavy rains on Tuesday, which causes concerns about flooding. Strong winds are also possible on Friday.

The National Weather Service is confirming a tornado touched down in South Carolina this week.

The agency assessed the major damage left behind in Bamberg after Tuesday's storms.

They determined an EF-2 tornado had caused the damage. That tornado had winds of 125 miles per hour.
