Liked Star Trek back in the days of Saturday afternoon reruns (yes, I'm too young to remember when the original series first aired) and enjoyed the movies that followed featuring the original crew.

Have not seen the J.J. Abrams reboot yet, but this Audi ad featuring a mix of the old and new Spocks has me seriously considering taking in the latest versions.  This is classic!

In South Carolina, it's illegal for any adult to give alcohol to your teen -- even with your permission. If they do:

• They face a maximum sentence of 30 days in jail and up to $1,075 in fines and fees.

• Their penalties "stack up," meaning they're ticketed for each underage person to whom they give alcohol.

In fact, adults can't knowingly allow anyone under 21 to drink or have alcohol in their home or on their property -- even if they don't provide the alcohol. They can be sued if they give alcohol to minors who then hurt someone -- or themselves -- or damage property.

Michael Jordan got married over the weekend, The guest list included the likes of Tiger Woods, Patrick Ewing and Ahmad Rashad.

The Charlotte Bobcats owner exchanged vows with 35-year-old former model Yvette Prieto Saturday in Palm Beach, Fla.  (Google her in case you're wondering how he did on his second time down the aisle).

The reception was held at the Bear's Club in Jupiter, Fla., a luxurious private golf club designed by Jack Nicklaus. Jordan, 50, owns a home near the course and took over the club's driving range with a tent complex you have to see to believe, courtesy of local realtors Jeff and Cary Lichtenstein.

Missed the flyover at 18 last year and heard it was fantastic.  So I made a special effort to get out to 18 on Friday to watch Boeing’s newest 747-8 airplane zooming on a pair of low-altitude passes.  It's impressive on video--even more impressive in person!

Flags were fluttering, winds were whipping...and this was at noon today at Harbour Town, just before the Boeing flyover.

Weather's only supposed to get worse.  Gusts expected from 25-30 mph by mid afternoon when this front blows through, bringing rain with it.

Watch the scores balloon late in the day--this course will bite hard when the wind picks up.  Guys like Streelman and Hoffman and Donald have to like their position--already in the clubhouse and atop the leaderboard.
