Alan Simpson has long been a proponent of fiscal responsibility. Joining the senate in 1979 and then becoming the Republican whip from 85-95. He's now 81 years old and frustrated the deficit is out of control with no slowing down in sight. He blames young people who are either uninformed or not interested enough to put pressure on their representatives in Washington. He understands that they're on the internet goofing around with youtube watching Gangnam Style  a record setting 896 million times (it's over a billion views if you count the copies). So he has made his own Gangnam dance video to launch a group with the mission of reminding young Americans that they have the most to lose if Washington keeps kicking the can down the road, and their future along with it. It's time to kick back and demand a solution to our $16 trillion and growing national debt.educate, organize and mobilize over 100,000 young people to pressure elected officials to achieve a bold, balanced and bipartisan deficit reduction agreement by July 4, 2013. I think the video is corny enough to go viral and if several million people watch it, and if one out of every 10 decide to respond to the message and plug in, it could start quite a groundswell. You're never too old to contribute! Now I've got to go practice my lasso moves.
