Two Augusta men have been charged with fatally shooting an Aiken County barber during a robbery at his business over the weekend.
The Aiken County Sheriff's Office says the suspects demanded money Saturday when they entered the Island Cuts Barber Shop in Beech Island.
32-year-old Zann Worrell of North Augusta fought with the men and was shot multiple times.
Coroner Tim Carlton says Worrell died from his wounds Saturday at the hospital.
Sheriff's Sergeant Jason Feemster says an alert witness followed the getaway vehicle into Richmond County, Georgia, and phoned authorities with its location.
21-year-old Demarcus Booker and 18-year-old Raphael Wooden were taken into custody on charges of murder and armed robbery.
They're being held in Augusta pending extradition to South Carolina.
