A Kershaw County man charged with criminal sexual conduct with two minors in 2011 has been charged with a similar incident that allegedly occurred a few years earlier.
Sheriff Jim Matthews says in September 2011, Ronald Christmas Jr. was arrested and charged with criminal sexual conduct with a minor under 16 and one under age 11.
He was released after posting bond.
Then early this month, investigators were contacted by the parents of a 15-year-old girl who claim Christmas sexually molested their daughter when she was seven or eight years old sometime between 2005 and 2007.
Matthews says the victim had been staying with her friend, Christmas' stepdaughter, when that occurred and she was hesitant to tell anyone until now.
The sheriff feels Christmas could be a danger to other children and should be held without bond until his trial.
