Authorities are searching for a man they've tied to a string of burglaries in Lower Richland County since the first of this year.
“This individual's responsible for seven different incidents which involved larcenies and also burglaries,” says Sheriff's Sergeant Curtis Wilson.
“He broke into residences, businesses and also damaged air conditioning units at different residences as well as businesses, totaling almost $80,000 in damage and also merchandise that was stolen.”
Wilson says 33-year-old Gregory Skinner even targeted three churches and the Lower Richland Community Center in the Eastover area.
Skinner's mostly accused of stealing copper wire and parts from the air conditioning units, but Wilson says he also grabbed items such as jewelry, yard maintenance equipment and a camera.
