On Sunday the White House released a list of the impacts they say states will feel if there is no deal reached on the sequester. Of course this comes less than a week before the latest and probably not the last deadline!

I grew up an "Air Force brat", spending a couple of years here and a couple of years there, calling everywhere from London to Louisiana home! I came to Columbia in 1972 and this has been home ever since. I graduated from Spring Valley H.S. (way back when it was the only high school in the district) and the University of South Carolina (which is still the USC).
My wife Anne and I live in Lexington with our two sons.
