CALLER: My husband and I got home yesterday from a 17-day hiking trip in the Himalayas.  We had no access to news, so we missed both the vice president and the second presidential debate.  But we're 24/7 members.  So as soon as we got Internet, we downloaded all the programs for the past few weeks.

RUSH: We're getting close to the election, and the pollsters want, of course, their final polls to be as close to the real outcome as possible... What you have here is a trend... We came up with a word last week to describe it: "Mittmentum."

RUSH: Reuters wants us to believe that a bunch of McCain voters -- older white males -- have made the decision to vote for Obama!

RUSH: It is entirely believable that Obama would believe in his heart that, "Hey, if the Iranians want nukes, it's none of our business to tell 'em they can't have any."  

RUSH: It's a semantic argument only. In the example he gave where there are 40 Democrats and 30 Republicans sampled, the conventional wisdom now -- the way of reporting that -- is a Democrat-plus-ten sample, and in raw numbers, it is. His point was that it's much greater than ten in reality, that it is a 33% increase in the number of Democrats sampled, not ten.

CALLER: I go down the list of everything you might have talked about, and then they pick which one they want to talk about. And then I'll fast forward on your website to that time and I'll let it play out and then we'll talk about it. But since then, we now have 72 people that regularly come here.

RUSH: My question, who from the Obama team is meeting with Bob Schieffer today?  Why would I ask?  Because I think somebody from the Obama team met with Candy Crowley.

CALLER: It's definitely infuriating. I don't know how any woman in her right mind could vote for this guy again.

RUSH: If Romney wins, you are going to see the beginnings of an economic expansion right then.

RUSH: I went back and I found it.  It was in his Cairo speech in one example, where Obama said, (paraphrasing) "It's not right for one nation to tell another they can or can't have nukes."
