So: Obama’s back in, and more people will be unemployed. It’s the natural order of things.

RUSH: Some of you may not be, but I'm old enough to remember when a reckless affair with a very young woman by a high government official who had access to powerful, sensitive intelligence was not a big deal.  I'm old enough to remember when, as long as it didn't get in the way of the work being done, it wasn't anybody's business.

RUSH: Don't you realize that, as Republicans, if we call any attention to this we're being exclusive and intolerant?

RUSH: When Democrats lose elections, do they ever discuss the possibility they may have to become pro-life? Okay. When Democrats lose elections, do they ever say, "You know what? We may have to give up this gay marriage position of ours and sort of abandon that. We may need to stand up for traditional marriage." Do the Democrats ever say that when they lose elections? No.

RUSH: Just as I predicted, ladies and gentlemen -- wait 'til you hear the sound bites -- this election was lost because of your host, Rush Limbaugh. I am the primary reason.

RUSH: Is there anyplace in this country that you've always wanted to visit?  Well, here's your chance to name it.

RUSH: Food stamps surged by the most in a year in the two months prior to the election.  All-time record.

RUSH:  Does anybody really believe that the Democrats are gonna sit by and simply let the Republicans take large chunks of their voters?  It's not going to happen.  What's gonna happen is the Republican Party is gonna join forces with the Democrat Party in new policies that will result in the importation and legalization of more people who will vote Democrat. 

RUSH: Joaquin Castro, through no fault of his own, is mischaracterizing what I said because he wasn't played the whole thing. Now he's falling into the trap, "Oh, see? They only think of us as illegal immigrants." Nope. No. Not at all. We think of Hispanics just the exact opposite, but that never is heard. Nobody's ever informed of that.

CALLER: I agree with all of the reasons you've given that played a role in Obama's reelection, but one that I haven't heard you mention is something that the president recommended himself, and it was to vote for him out of a sense of revenge.
